The Cassina Garden Club offers on-site living history programs that meet the Georgia Standards of Excellence. Our programs are engaging, entertaining, and memorable experiences that encourage critical thinking skills and a better understanding of those who came before us.

Payment

There is no charge for tours of the gardens and cabins, but donations are welcome and appreciated.

Amenities

The garden and cabins area has no public restroom facilities; however, public restrooms are located at Gascoigne Park, a short driving distance (0.4 miles) from the cabins.

Bus Parking is available in the large lot beside the gardens.

Picnic facilities are available at Gascoigne Park.

Programs and Tours Policies

Cancellation and Rescheduling

A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to CANCEL OR CHANGE RESERVATIONS. Please email info@cassinagardenclub.org as early as possible. Rescheduling is subject to availability.  

Photography

While personal photography is encouraged at the Cabins, it must be conducted without disruption to Cabin operations or other visitors and with the safety of the artifacts in mind.

By entering the Cassina Garden Club Tabby Slave Cabins and Garden, your group understands and grants the CGC’s official photographer permission to take photos and videos that may include the likeness of your group and individual parties of your group. Your group grants the CGC authorization to use your group's photos on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, as well as other social media platforms and marketing to promote the Cassina Garden Club. All members of your group agree that such photos are copyright of the CGC and neither the group nor individuals will receive any compensation for using said photographs.  

The Cassina Garden Club reserves the right to restrict photography at any time. 

 Inclement Weather Policy

In case of inclement weather, the Cassina Garden Club will make every effort to contact your group representative ahead of an unforeseen closure.

Visitor Expectations

It is expected that all visitors to the Tabby Slave Cabins will behave in a way that is respectful of the facilities, artifacts, and other visitors. Aggressive, disrespectful, or disruptive behavior or attitudes will not be tolerated. Anyone exhibiting such behavior may be asked to exit the premises of the Tabby Slave Cabins and Gardens immediately. Failure to comply with such requests by Cassina Garden Club staff will result in further measures being taken to ensure the safety and integrity of the cabins, gardens, visitors, staff, and mission.
